Happy New Year and Happy 2nd Blogiversary family-friends-food.com! I started the year with an interview on the The Jewish Hour radio show on Salford City Radio, sharing my fabulous aubergine shakshuka recipe. January also saw my most popular recipe yet hit the internet – 3-ingredient vegan chocolate tart! I was thrilled when it was included in a ‘vegan recipe roundup’ on BabyCentre UK.

I flew to New York to attend the Kosher Food Bloggers Conference, KosherFeast dinner, and KosherFest trade show. While there I was interviewed by Naomi Nachman for her ‘Table for Two’ radio show on the Nachum Segal Network.
September must be salad month! My recipes for Moroccan carrot salad and beetroot salad with pomegranate were included in this round-up of salads from Kosher Bloggers, featured in the The Jewish Week. Meanwhile, my avocado & orange salad was in this round-up of side-dishes to brighten your Autumn!
