I can’t be alone in choosing some new item each Rosh Hashanah to embellish our festival table, can I? Whether its a fancy bowl for honey, a beautiful new serving dish, or even some cute napkin rings, a new year seems to warrant some new and lovely thing to enhance our celebrations.
Recently, I’ve been browsing the gorgeous range of Rosh Hashanah items available at Contemporary Judaica. I love this website, as it has all kinds of beautiful, modern things that suit my style much better than a lot of the more ‘traditional’ Jewish items. As well as being a good place to browse, pin, and make wish-lists, it’s also fantastic if you’re after Jewish-inspired gifts for weddings, bat/bar mitzvahs, festivals, birthdays or anniversaries.
So I’m delighted to have teamed up with Contemporary Judaica to give away this absolutely gorgeous Rosh Hashanah honey dish by celebrated Israeli artist Dorit. Read on to see how you can win!
The silver-coloured dish is made from laser-cut metal, and features a beautiful and intricate design of pomegranates and leafy branches, reminiscent of traditional Jewish paper cuts. Around the centre of the dish are the hebrew words Shana Tova Umetuka – wishes for a good and sweet year.
The dish is worth £29, and would make a stunning addition to your Rosh Hashanah table.
